The threat of supply chain disruption looms large over a variety of brands (I think it’s unlikely that I’ll be unwrapping a PlayStation 5 on Christmas Day), but there is an optimism across retail that this Christmas will be a good one with people able to meet in person for gifting and celebrating.
Golden quarter, with the increased footfall in stores, gives brands a great opportunity to gather customer insights that can be used across the year. Smart brands can use the season to optimize customer data to better inform merchandising, pathing and marketing decisions.
