How to uninstall Content Manager and ancillary applications?

1.      Uninstall the following applications in Control Panel / Add and Remove Programs:

a. Content Manager
b. PostgreSQL
c. Apache Tomcat
d. MainConcept MPEG-2 Decoder Pack

2. Delete the ‘postgres’ Windows User Account in Control Panel / Users Accounts

3. Remove any leftover bits of the Postgres and Apache installations in the "program files" directory. Delete the following folders:
a. (default path) C:\Program Files\PostgreSQL
b. (default path) C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation

4. Windows XP or Server 2003 delete (default path) C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Scala. Windows 7 or Server 2008 delete (default path) Local Disk (C) > ProgramData  > Scala.

NOTE: If InfoChannel 5 Designer or Player are installed on the Content Manager system then leave their respective folders in place.

5. Remove all Content Manager Registry entries from the follow keys:
a. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Scala
b. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Scala

NOTE: If Scala 5 Designer or Player are installed on the Content Manager system then leave their respective Registry folders in place.
