I'm finding errors in the Windows application log that seem to be related to Scala...

When looking in the Windows application log, I find the following error...

Unable to start a DCOM Server: {678DCABC-4A7C-44B5-80BE-BF57E9DBC6D0}. The error:
"C:\PROGRA~1\Scala\ICPlayer\apps\RunIC.app -Embedding is not a valid Win32 application. "
Happened while starting this command:
C:\PROGRA~1\Scala\ICPlayer\apps\RunIC.app -Embedding

This error does relate to Scala. It simply means that the player network engine is running, but the player interface is not running. Simply start the player interface to solve the problem. This error may occur from time to time, but are considered harmless.
