How to setup IC3 Player Auto Reboot, Auto Login, and Auto Start?
Setup for IC3 Player Auto Reboot, Auto Login, and Auto Start.
Auto Reboot
1. In Network Manager create a job and ADD the Maintenance Task for Reboot.
2. Select the Player.
3. Choose the Trigger At Time you desire.
4. Click OK, and Submit Changes.
Auto Logon (Windows 2000)
1. On the Player, go to START / RUN and type regedit to start the Registry Editor
2. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon]
3. Click on the Winlogon Icon to see it's contents.
4. DefaultUserName should be the current User Name. If you need to
change it, double click, change the value to the user name you want,
and click OK.
5. Click on AutoAdminLogon, change the value to 1, and click OK.
If AutoAdminLogon is missing, then you need to create it. Select
Edit/New/StringValue, enter AutoAdminLogon, and set the value to 1.
6.Select Edit/New/StringValue, enter DefaultPassword and set the value to your password.
7. Close the Registry Editor
Auto Logon (Windows XP)
1. Click Start, click Run, and type control userpasswords2.
2. Clear the Users must enter a username and password to use this computer check box.
3. Click Apply.
4. Enter the user name and password you wish to automatically log on with, and then click OK.
5. Click OK again and you're all done.
Auto Start
1. On the player, right click the Taskbar and select Properties to get the Taskbar and Menu Properties.
2. Windows 2000 click on Advanced and select Add. Windows XP click on Start Menu, select Customize, and select Add.
3. Browse to :\Program Files\Scala\ICPlayer\ICPlayerNet.exe
4. Select Next, and point to the Programs\Startup folder
5. Select Next, call the menu item IC3 Player, and select Finished.
6. Right click the Taskbar and select Properties to get the Taskbar and Menu Properties.
7. Windows 2000 click on Advanced and select Add. Windows XP click on Customize and select Add.
8. Browse to :\Program Files\Scala\ICPlayer\ICPlayer.exe
9. Select Next, and point to the Programs\Startup folder
10. Select Next, call the menu item IC3 Player Network Engine, and select Finished.
