How do I configure the Sigma Netstream 2000 or Netstream 2000 TV card for InfoChannel 3?

Note: The Sigma NetStream 2000 card is functional with the MCI MPEG EX starting with IC3 Release 4.

Setup for IC Designer 3:

Select in IC Designer 3/Tools/Options/EXes. After placing a check mark next to MCI MPEG EX, and double click on the MCI MPEG EX to get the MCI MPEG EX Options.

It is key that you set the Display Mode in the MCI MPEG EX to be the same resolutions defined in IC Designer 3/Tools/Options/Playback/ Playback Mode/ Custom/ Full Screen Display. They all should be the same. Typical would be 800 x 600, High Color, and 60 Hz. Don't use the Adapt or Current option. Also make sure the Desktop is set the same.

When running on a Windows 2000 or Windows XP system select "Disable Double Buffering" and "Close MCI After Playback" only.

Setup for IC3 Player:

Run the IC3 Player Configuration utility. Select the Playback tab, and place a check mark next to MCI MPEG EX, and double click on the MCI MPEG EX to get the MCI MPEG EX Options.

The options should be setup just like the IC Designer 3 system.
