A signage system is a group of visually based displays that provides information to viewers. Signage systems can refer to any collection of correlated signs, but most commonly refer to signs that are somehow related and/or connected. Digital signage systems are a subset of signage systems in which all of the displays are digital. Digital signage systems may also be called electronic signage systems or information display systems. A signage system may contain both digital and traditional signs.
