Samples, Demos and Customer Profiles

Large Grocery Chain in the UK

Scala Services enabled a VAR in the UK to deliver customized features to a large grocery chain client. They have two channels for employee communication: One is displayed on TVs for company news and uses a VBScript written by Scala to retrieve & display data from the customer's website. The other is an interactive application the lets viewers log in to select and view training videos. The user, date and time are recorded to verify the videos were indeed watched.

Hollywood & Highland

The newest high profile public venue in Hollywood, CA, this is the home of the Academy Awards plus a hotel, theater, restaurants, shops and two large LED-based signs reaching thousands of people each day. Scala developed, installed and provided training for the systems that deliver advertising content to the screens.

Catalyst Resource Group

Catalyst is a consulting company that helps their clients develop plans for deploying complex systems such as dynamic signage. Scala worked with Catalyst to develop their corporate pitch which included a full multimedia presentation and interactive simulations of typical applications.

Payless Shoesource

This type of cooperation allows Pioneer to demonstrate real world applications with a real world dynamic signage product.

Ricoh

Scala created the front-end interface for Ricoh's Partner Pak CD included with their new RD7000 digital camera. Demos from companies including JASC, ofoto.com, ememories.com and Adaptec were included, offering Scala valuable exposure to digital photography customers.

Scala Content

Scala Services also produces the demos and clipart on the InfoChannel product CD. Backgrounds, graphics, sound and video were all created specifically for Scala applications.

Other past customers
