Scala InfoChannelŪ will be demonstrated in the booth of our hardware partner Advansus, Hall 3 booth number N4.
The Tokyo Game Show is the world's largest event related to entertainment, arcade and video games. With a 10% increase in exhibitors and booth space, this year's show promises to be even more extravagant than ever. Prominent at this show is the new generation gaming systems showing off their best line-up in an effort to take advantage of their competition.
With a focus during the first two days of the exhibition on business solutions for entertainment companies, Scala, together with its hardware partner Advansus, will exhibit Scala InfoChannel displaying content specifically created for the audience of the show.
Arcade centers and game centers all around the world face a number of difficult challenges: from the changing gamer profile, to the shorter lifespan of newer games, to the need to provide increasingly complicated networked service to their increasingly demanding customers. In front of those difficulties, digital signage applied to gaming environments can provide a number of answers to help customers find better information while the arcade operators take advantage of a very targeted, typically young and affluent, audience by providing new avenues to ad agencies for targeted marketing.
During Tokyo Game Show 2007, Scala will demonstrate how a Scala InfoChannel based solution can help establish a number of direct communication channels with customers of entertainment centers. The hardware platform is comprised of the Advansus i945GM3-DCQI Mini-ITX motherboard and the latest universal Mini-ITX enclosure, measuring 225mm x 200mm x 63.5mm. This system is set to demonstrate the exceptional potential for high-definition video and images running on an IntelŪ PentiumŪ M 2.16GHz processor and a 945GM chipset. The board supports dual-view display, and either DVI or LVDS digital panels with resolutions up to 2048 x 1536. The integrated Intel GMA 950 enables high-quality, full-speed video playback. The 5.1CH amplified Audio is powered with the TPA3005D2 Stereo at 5 watts per channel, which ensures outstanding surround-sound audio.
