The Faculty Program was created to recognize the contributions of its corps of dedicated instructors and to contribute to their professional development. Faculty members are nominated by the InfoComm Professional Education and Training Committee (PETC), with final selections made by the association's Board of Governors. Mr. Porter was bestowed a certificate of honor and his name is now listed on the InfoComm web portal at www.infocomm.org. His long term, proactive involvement in not only the digital signage industry, but the entire audiovisual industry has provided him with the skill set to be a valuable member of the InfoComm International faculty.

"The InfoComm Academy program was developed through the commitment of our industry to ensure that there was a way to support professionals in their need to advance their skills, as well as to serve as a foundation for excellence in audiovisual projects everywhere," said Melissa Taggart, InfoComm Senior Vice President for Education, Certification, and Standards. "Through the strong contributions of our faculty, we are continuing to serve these goals. Every year, our educational program sees enhancements designed to make it easier for people to learn as well as to stay ahead of technology trends. We could not do everything we are accomplishing without our knowledgeable instructors."

"I am pleased to be granted such a prestigious status, by a world reknowned organization like InfoComm International," stated Jeff Porter. "I am looking forward to continuing to work with InfoComm International and the other faculty members."
