The annual event is designed to bring together retail professionals from around the world to Retail's Big Show 2006. The show is scheduled for January 15th through the 18th at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City.
As part of the show this year NRF will highlight the X06 Marketplace where innovative store designs and futuristic technologies represent the store of the future. As a key contributor to the X06 pavilion, IBM will be displaying their solutions for in-store technologies. Powered by Scala InfoChannel® IBM will drive retail content on a bank of LG high-definition Plasma screens.
In the NEC, booth (#627), Scala, Inc. has developed retail specific content that compliments NEC's family of high-definition LCD screens. Included in the content are menu boards from the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia and retail content from Tommy Hilfiger, compliments of Telecine Multimedia of Canada, a Scala Certified Partner.
