With the launch of Scala InfoChannel 5 - Scala continues to exceed customer expectations around the world and is now poised to gain an even wider industry lead. To ensure its leadership position in the burgeoning digital signage market, NEC Unified Solutions, Inc. The BlueFire VC400 digital signage controller will come bundled and preconfigured with Scala's new InfoChannel 5 Player and Microsoft XP embedded operating system, making it incredibly easy to deploy the next generation in digital signage networks.
The BlueFire VC is an IP/Ethernet network addressable device that is collocated with the display signage such as large Liquid Crystal Displays (LCDs) and Plasma Display Panels (PDPs). Being LAN-connected enables the BlueFire VC to receive content, scheduling and other instructions from a central site for controlling and monitoring multiple individual display systems. The BlueFire VC's wireless option enables the deployment of digital signage in areas that have AC power access but no networking infrastructure, making it possible to take advantage of the benefits of digital signage while avoiding a costly investment in premise re-wiring. The VC Digital Signage Controller can control digital signage in a wide array of applications for hotels, restaurants, retail stores, arenas, stadiums, transportation centers, schools, financial institutions and manufacturing.
