Product Advisory on Intel i945G running InfoChannel 5

Hardware FAQ Solution #2, product advisory i945G (last modified 03/07/2007):

The Intel i945G device driver leaks memory--badly.

These are the "official" OEM releases of the Intel i945G device driver:

PV 14.25.50 -- 2007.01.17 -- total InfoChannel 5 display corruption in under 45 minutes with our test script.

PV 14.25 -- 2006.10.09 -- total InfoChannel 5 display corruption in under 45 minutes with our test script.

PV 14.24 -- 2006.08.24 -- total InfoChannel 5 display corruption in under 45 minutes with our test script.

PV 14.20 -- 2006.03.26 -- IC5 functional for a 12 hour test run.

NOTE: This does NOT apply to the i946GZ or the Q963/G965. These three products appear to run the same test script just fine with their current Intel "GMA3000" WHQL XPP device driver!

The Scala Website requires that JavaScript (Active Scripting) be enabled.

Please go to Tools, Internet Options under the Menus. Select the Security Tab, then Custom Level button. Then click the Enable button under Scripting / Active Scripting. Hit OK, then OK again to exit requestors. You will know it's working when you see a "More" link in the links beneath the Tabs.

You can still use the website without changing this setting, but certain features will be disabled.
