I have installed the xing mpeg1/2 directshow
filter and it causes designer to crash when
previewing and playing Mpeg1&2 files. I have also
tried other directshow filters (ligos, powerDVD)
and they all do the same. They also do the same
with the IC200 Dshow Ex. Both products only seem
to like the default MPEG1 filter. However playing
mpeg1 & 2 directly in the media player is great.
Is this correct????
We are in contact with the vendors of these, (and other), software MPEG
filters and are working with them to obtain some measure of
interoperability. At this time we are not aware of any of this class of
product that function with currently shipping Scala products. [or any other
DirectX exclusive mode application]
