Yes, this is a documented phenomenon. It is best not to use those speeds. Correction for this has not been schedule at this time due to other pressing developments.

In Iplay Studio SP4, if I use either of these two wipes: SmoothWall & ScaletheWall; and the speed is 7,8,9, or 10. Then after the transition to the next slide, blinking rectangles are left on the screen with parts of the previous slide inside them.
I use the random wipe button often so I can't just not use that wipe.
What is the best way to fix this? Should I wait for SP5? Should I manually edit the .wip file and take out these two wipes?
HELP please. My presenations look slack when I have those blinking rectangles.
Thanks in advance!!!
At this time there are no plans to upgrade iPlay Studio. The InfoChannel 3 products are what we are developing at this time.

Since ICD3 looks so wonderful are there any plans to upgrade iplay studio? I know a few hundred folks who use the software for presentations and a few hundred more who I keep recommending the software too. However I would like to know if the current iplay studio is the last of its kind. It is beginning to age in the few video formats it supports and the absence of showing flash clips.
But then still scala stuff is so much quicker and better looking than powerpoint that I'm just happy I have it. I think iplay studio could be a powerpoint killer if you just improved it a little bit.
