My company has wanted me to research some infochannel software solutions. Very impressed with the formats Scala supports.

I have to get the screen to display the time, weekday, and a global crawl from a .txt file

New to ScalaScript, but I have played with .php and I have printed and began to read the scalascript documentation.

The .pdf is informative, but I still need help!

To get started: What type of editor do you write your scalascripts in. What type of file is the script saves as. How do you import the scripts into the designer soft. How do you preview the scripts. Any information is greatly appreciated. I know I can get the grip on some basic programming. But I don't have some basic fundamentals, like how to get started.

The Scala Website requires that JavaScript (Active Scripting) be enabled.

Please go to Tools, Internet Options under the Menus. Select the Security Tab, then Custom Level button. Then click the Enable button under Scripting / Active Scripting. Hit OK, then OK again to exit requestors. You will know it's working when you see a "More" link in the links beneath the Tabs.

You can still use the website without changing this setting, but certain features will be disabled.
