John,
Thanks for the response from Scala. You guys oughta know. I do have my resolutions and refresh rates locked and the mpeg.ex enabled on the Master computer. How do I enable it on the Player? It seems like there are no controls for the Player on the Player itself. Are they somewhere on the Master? I'll look around again. Also where is that SP7b README.TXT file?
Thanks again.

I have been successful in installing and configuring the Sigma mpeg2 card in my Master computer and my Player computers. BUT although mpeg 1 and 2 files playback perfectly in my Master (authoring) computer, when I send the script over to the Player computer, it skips playing the mpeg2s and just goes on with the script after a brief pause. Mpeg 1's playback just fine, in fact , better than ever.
What's happening here? Is there something more I must do to my Player so that the script triggers the mpeg card to play the mpeg 2 files?
