I've tested yesterday this conclusion, and even currently I have some idea about how to run it from icd3. So, it's not like AirBox does, but anyway it works!

How to run mpeg-4 via Xcard from Scala? I have just got mpeg-1 and mpeg-2 which are running perfect, but cannot see any mpeg-4 UP yet.
If anybody can advise me on this issue?

If anybody can confirm, that Scala+Xcard will play *.AVI(DivX/Xvid, etc) properly?
In my case it does not, just Mpeg-1/2 plays...
