Let's say that the player is downloading content from a new script, but the connection with the server is lost, so the job failed. So, we resubmit the job.
Question:
What is going to happen with the files that were previously downloaded?
Is the player going to start all downloads again?

Regarding the burn-in effect, if I leave a static logo on plasma screens 12 hours a days - 7days a week but disappearing for 10 seconds every 5 minutes, would I have any problem on those screens?

Hi,
We have our NM set on a server which is also the Publish Locations server.
We use very large files and have about 200GB of content that is used on our network.
We would like to know if there is any problem to set the Transmission Workspcace as the same place of the Publish Location on ther server, they have the same content.
We have our DB of content located on this server and all of our 2 designers create the scripts acessing the DB on the server through our LAN. Finishing the scripts the content is sent to one of the Publish locations we have on the same server and them sent to the Transmission Workspce in order to be available for the player.
So, everything is located on the same server, however, the same content is being copied for 3 different folders (DB, Publish Location, Transmission WS) causing a waste of space.
We have 3 different publish locations, but the big ammount of that is always for the same Publish Location. My question is, what are the consequences of setting the Transmission WS as the same place of the Publish Location (the one we use with the big ammount of data)? Is that a good idea?
Any help?!!
