Scala comes with a variety of backgrounds for cable and corporate television applications, plus a selection of textured backgrounds and photographs. Support for standard formats include BMP, GIF, IFF, JPEG, PCX, PhotoCD, PNG, and TIFF.

Animations...

Scala comes with a selection of animations that can be used as either animated background or foreground elements. Scala even supports layering animations. Supported formats include FLC/FLI, AnimGIF, MPEG, QuickTime, and AVI. Add fun, attention-grabbing segues to your productions.

Clips...

Clips are foreground graphics that can be animated, given shadows, colorized, rotated, and made semi-transparent. Scala supports BMP, GIF, IFF, JPEG, PCX, PhotoCD, PNG, and TIFF. Punctuate your screens with photographs, objects and symbols. Fly them in, fly them off!

Sound Effects, Music, and Much More!

Scala also comes with a selection of MIDI and WAV files. Support includes MIDI, WAV and CD Audio. Add background music and sound effects to your Scala productions. Mix, pan and fade your audio.

The Scala Website requires that JavaScript (Active Scripting) be enabled.

Please go to Tools, Internet Options under the Menus. Select the Security Tab, then Custom Level button. Then click the Enable button under Scripting / Active Scripting. Hit OK, then OK again to exit requestors. You will know it's working when you see a "More" link in the links beneath the Tabs.

You can still use the website without changing this setting, but certain features will be disabled.
