I read a few posts mentioning an EX named TV Tuner or so.
Those are old posts from 2003. To me is not clear if this EX exists or not since I cannot find any docs about it at SCALA web site.
I am curious about this EX possibilities. Anyone can tell me a little about it?
The TV Tuner.EX is an EX for Scala IC3 that controls TV Tuner cards. You Scala IC3 reseller should have all of the normal information: Product literature, Pricing, etc. for the product.
Currently the EX works with Bt848, Cx23880, and Cx238415/6 based TV Capture cards. [the primary issue is one of driver stability--TV Tuner cards are a very limited market product and thus have had historically poor driver development] In any case a Pinnacle PCTV Pro, Hauppauge PVR-250, or any Generic Bt848A card will work. [the PVR-250--or any other Cx238416 based card--will have some of the best quality output]
You can have TV as a Clip, Background, etc. You can change channels, play with volume. Watch TV. Usefull for when you need a "live" TV input into a script.

So Lorenz contact Scala sales. Maybe they could send you the info on PDF

Julian
Julian,
If you haven't written permission from Scala you should remove the file and the link. Read EULA (does anyone actually read those documents?).
