Hi Martin
I think you should provide more details about what exactly you want to do!!!.
I understand that maybe you want that a script continue in a specific slide after a power resume???
Perhaps you want a variable that works like a counter keeps its last value?
Sorry Please submit more details. This will make you receive more useful answers

Hi Julian
I have a script with 5 diffrent language,
in a page can I select the language to run in a loop ( its for exhibitions )so when the system lost the power it should start in the language that i choice bevor...
sorry for my english..
Martin
Hi Martin
I think there are many ways to do it!!
The easiest for me,... would be by separating the different languages you have in subgroups. You can assing a condition ("show if time > 8:00 and time < 9:00" )for each group or language. For example if the power fails temporaly for two minutes between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m the script will continue its playback in that language whe the system restart. But If the power failure took more time the script will start in the next language.
If you need more assistance don't hesitate and request it!!
Julian
Hi
this is not what i want ,the customer make one time the decision
and the next view day starts the same language even when he lost the power during the day. so i have to save the variable.
Martin
Hi,
You'll have to use the FileIO functions from within ICD/IC3 to do what you want.
You should check out this file from the files-section.
Maybe it helps
http://www.scala.com/asp/files.asp
and click on the file "readwritevar.sca".
I am curious though - isn't it better to start up with a language that's most likely to be understood by most people?
And then let the viewer decide the language?
I for one wouldn't be helped by being met by a menu in let's say, chinese, just because the last visitor was from china.
Anyway, I hope this helps.
regards - Mike
