If I create a multimedia interactive using Scala how can I make an animation that plays only when a certain amount of time pass by without any user interacting?
Well every page with buttons (interaction?) have wait forever set as default duration. If you set duration of particular page long enough that it can compensate pause in user interaction, it may work. However it greatly depends of complexity of your script.
You may try different approach; we have used it in quiz type of applications. Attract loop (Animation) is the default part of the script. If user interacts with machine, it breaks attract loop and enter in interactive part, which is timed using duration.
It is very similar approach. Differences are in the finesses of your application.
