I use ic2
And her is the problem:
I want to open a txt file from the internet, and import line1, line2...
But how do i get ic to open a file from the outside the data folder?
The main goal is to make it possible for others to add news to my script wich runs on a local cable tv
I have now found out how to do this.
I made a form page and a php script to save the form on my webserver.
and on the scala server (win2k) i run schedule task + Opus File Downloader V3 (http://www.iopus.com/download.htm)
Now i am able to download txt/file... from my webserver with the schedule i want and save the file in data folder, and here scala can access it.
I gess there is no end to what i can do now :-)
I don't know how IC200 works but if you can launch an exe in the background, why don't you try to do a simple .bat script with wget.exe to download files of the webserver?
If you do that you will get at black msdos box in front and the script will stop running.
So you have to run it as another user, so it runs totaly hidden.
Thank you for your answer.
What you found could definitely be more useful to somebody else.
