install mediaplayer 9

I have installed the service pack 5 for infochannel designer and i solved many problem , (most of all the crashed when i open a avi or tga files in the list view)
what i wonder is:
can i install now in the system pc media player ?
and more
can i use infochannel designer 1 with win xp without any problem?

The Scala Website requires that JavaScript (Active Scripting) be enabled.

Please go to Tools, Internet Options under the Menus. Select the Security Tab, then Custom Level button. Then click the Enable button under Scripting / Active Scripting. Hit OK, then OK again to exit requestors. You will know it's working when you see a "More" link in the links beneath the Tabs.

You can still use the website without changing this setting, but certain features will be disabled.
