I have a TV playback schedule from a Tilt-Rac system that I am exporting as a text file, and then having IC100 import the event as
!line1
!line2
!line3
..and so on.
From the text file, we manually copy all of the events for Monday, and make a file called Monday.txt, one for Tuesday etc.
When originally exported the events look something like this
channel date start time description
On our web site, I am able to parse (asp and VBscript) the text file and create variables out of each value on each line. The server simply loops through the file and only shows certain events based on certain conditions.
So my question is, is there a way to do that with ScalaScript in IC100? Import a text file, split each line into a couple of variables, and then apply it to conditional statements?
For example: I have a .sca file called 16tuesday. This file shows all evetns for tuesday. What I am trying to accomplish is
If "this line" = 16 and !time < start time then show !line.
Is this possible? Thanks for any help you can provide!
I hear IC3 can support VBscript, in which case, I already have the code written, but I need to do this in IC100.

Any pointers for Michael on how to accomplish this in IC100?
