WIll Scala InfoChannel 3 play a VOB file stored on my hard drive?
I tried the "Streaming Video Cllip" method and my presentation was frozen.
VOB-containers are typically for "commercial" content--e.g. content with which one does not have the legal rights to display. Most entities with VOB's that are not encrypted generally have the source MPEG-2 files from which the VOB was composed of originally.
Solution: Use the MPEG-2 files.
If you do have VOB files for which you have the legal rights for distribution/performance in place--then contact your content provider, who supplied you with the VOB), and ask for the appropriate MPEG-2 Program streams.
Regards,

The content is free and clear to use. The creator, however seems to not understand what i mean by an MPeg 2 stream. Is there a converter out there that will do the job foir me?
Try: VOB Tools stream extractors merger splitter
