We are working with version 2.0.6 of Content Manager. When uploading some image files as media or template (.sca) files, the preview thumbnails are inconsistent. Some of the previews show up fine, while others do not (just displaying the generic Scala icon).
Does anyone know if there are any particular graphic formats that display the thumbnails better than others or settings in Designer that work better? We have some clients that will be using the templates for creating their messages and need to be able to see the previews.
We have tried accessing Content Manager from three different computers and the previews (or lack thereof) are consistent across all of the computers.
Any help or suggestions from anyone would be appreciated. Thank you!
Alan
Like "any".
What content is not displaying Thumbnails?
--JSS
If I click on the "Media" tab in Content Manager, half of the .jpg or .scb files show their thumbnail previews, half do not. Those that do not have the generic Scala icon.
If I click on the "Templates" tab in Content Manager, half of the .scb files show their thumbnail previews, half do not. Those that do not have the generic Scala icon.
If I click on the "Messages" tab in Content Manager and choose "New", half of the template thumbnails I have to choose from have previews, half do not. Those that do not have the generic Scala icon.
If I choose to edit a message that uses one of these templates with no thumbnail preview, the "Message Preview" window just shows the generic Scala icon.
I am running version 2.0.6 of Content Manager. All of the .scb files created and published to this version of Content Manager come from IC Designer 5 version 2.0.6. They are all coming from the same Designer location.
If there is more information anyone is needing, please let me know with some specific requests for information beyond what I have written above or in my original post.
Is there a common source or resolution for the JPEG files that are not generating Thumbnails and those which are? [e.g. JPEG's produced by a specific program or Camera or from a specific stock image library?]
You really should with working with Tech Support to get this addressed.

I have not found any image qualities that would be causing the problem yet, but will keep researching. I will open a conversation with tech support.
