New Scala user here. I've been tasked with determining why our players are rebooting. We're using IC3 ver 7.5. All systems are HP pentium 4 machines running WinXP.
The reboot problem always seems to be the same, while processing an update to the player, the next update comes in before the previous one completes. We get an error "Problem 28: Scala Player terminated abnormally (Caused by error 157.53) and then the OS reboots. I've checked in the player logs and Dr. Watson logs but am not really finding anything that just looks like a problem.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated (especially since I'm new to the job and would like to make a splash!).
Thanks,
John
PS- We're currently at 94 players running off of one server and will be well over 400 by the end of the year.
To really determine the problem I should have a look at the last error log (just before rebooting). Are you sure you ran the Player optimizer after installing? Could it be that there is something corrupt in the content?
Anyway, the problem you experience is not a very common one, in all the years working with Scala I've never saw this one. So if you please could send me the log and/or the .sca the player uses I will have a good look at it.

Marvin,
Thanks for the reply. I can get you the files you requested, but it's not just 1 or 2 players. We're talking 30 players over the last 7 days and only 1 has duplicated it. I'll try to get you the files today or tomorrow.
You mean that of all 30 players, just one has that problem?
Out of 94 players, 30 have rebooted, only one has rebooted twice in the last week.
Also, which .sca file do you need? I have about 8 that are in the scala directories.
Just gimme the last part (10 mins) of the log from the player.
By the way, with this amount of players... Where is your official Scala or dealer support?!
