Mouseclick out of a Scala Subscript Loop

Wednesday, 11/28/2007 -- by John W.. Subject: Mouseclick out of a Scala Subscript Loop

I have an animation subscript, a flipbook of images if you will, & need to have it loop infinitely until the user mouseclicks to move to the next slide in the main script.

I tried the invisible button trick with Goto endloop (exits script) on each of the subscript frames, but was wondering if there is something more graceful & didn't show the mouse pointer.

Was thinking of setting it to Branch on the subscript with Repeat Until, but don't have the name/syntax for the Mouseclick event/variable.

Using IC Designer 5 on this system, but have many customers to support on IC Designer1 & 3. Any ideas?... thanx in advance. John W

Still no response? I'm surpised... first by the fact that this functionality is not already built into Scala after 3 major releases... & second... no one has come up with a workaround. This is basic stuff guys! John W

You could try setting up Mouse.PrimaryButton and Mouse.SecondaryButton with OnNotification:

OnNotification("Mouse.PrimaryButton", Goto("JumpToBegining", Bookmark(Off)));

OnNotification("Mouse.SecondaryButton", Goto("JumpToEnd", Bookmark(Off)));
