NEC's new BlueFire VC hardware is designed for dynamic signage in that it is one of the first network appliances to handle truly dynamic content: Scala InfoChannel. Whereas most "MPEG Bricks" are mere digital VCRs showing nothing but low-quality bandwidth-intensive video, the BlueFire VC renders playback on-the-fly delivering up-to-date media, customized down to the local level if desired.

The Scala Website requires that JavaScript (Active Scripting) be enabled.

Please go to Tools, Internet Options under the Menus. Select the Security Tab, then Custom Level button. Then click the Enable button under Scripting / Active Scripting. Hit OK, then OK again to exit requestors. You will know it's working when you see a "More" link in the links beneath the Tabs.

You can still use the website without changing this setting, but certain features will be disabled.
