Scala is seeking interns for both the Summer and Fall of 2011.  We are looking for a team of interns to assist various departments to help maintain Scala's leadership in the industry.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Collaborate and work closely with the Creative Director. Obtain valuable real-world experience in the fields of graphic design, web development and web design.

• In-depth knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Javascript;
• Researching and developing interactive components for the website;
• Experience with web design and web development;
• Understanding of Web 2.0 design styles;
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Flash (preferred);
• Comprehension and ability to perform A/B testing and PPC; and
• Search Engine Marketing/Optimization.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

• Result oriented;
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Project management skills;
• Ability to work as a part of a team;
  
• Must be organized and detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  
• Possess strong typography and layout skills;
  
• Knowledge of databases and/or CRM systems; and
  
• Have a sense of humor.
